The Chi-Town Connection “Spring Fling” and “Fall Fest” have become premier events in Houston. Since the first picnic October 2012, the events have grown to be well attended by native Chicagoans living in Houston and other Houston residents who enjoy Chicago’s unique foods and musical traditions. Moreover, Chicagoans living in Chicago and across the country make this a part of their spring and fall event plans. The picnics continue to grow. It’s hard to believe that in a few years we’ve grown from 200 attendees to an estimated 2,500 attendees over the course of the event day.

The increased success of the picnics affords vendors and sponsors alike a great opportunity to showcase their products and services, to sell their products to existing customers, and to increase their customer base. The “Spring Fling” and the “Fall Fest” experience a wide number of attendees who arrive with the expectation of spending money and supporting their local community businesses.
